Our origins

It probably all started on a rainy day …

We were two young friends, Jordi SAMON and Manel CLAUS, telecommunications and electronics engineers, restless and curious, walking araound our city. As the rain fell, sprinklers and diffusers were watering the streets, squares and gardens … and we asked ourselves:

Would it be very difficult to avoid wasting so much water?

Would it be possible to control all these scattered points of watering in a simple and comfortable way from anywhere in the world?

And step by step, walking in the rain, we discovered a new way of understanding the maintenance of a city. We begun to imagine a new concept, an innovative way of managing a green space: The Telemanagement of irrigation and water consumption for gardening.

Over these nearly 20 years, we have grown and created a great team committed to sustainability & energy savings. Now, the people who work at SAMCLA and the customers who have always trusted us, are a great community walking in a single direction, a fundamental requirement for the consolidation of the company and to make true our dream of a rainy day.

When we decided to create SAMCLA, we had only one goal: to work on what we liked, respecting everything we believed in. Always trying to be honest with our personal principles, and trying to make products with all the requirements the customer expected from the product and from ourselves.

The conviction that every product that comes out of the door of our factory, will inevitably generate emotions, produces a high responsibility that is absolutely essential to remain true to our convictions, for what we are well considered and valued.

2002
The birth of SAMCLA
Creation of the company in Mataró (Barcelona). Design and manufacture of meteorological sensors for agriculture, which start the way for the design, development and installation of the first telemanagement systems for irrigation and water consumption for municipalities gardening.
2010
SAMCLA leads the Municipal Irrigation the Telemanagement
Design, manufacture, commercial and after-sales service for software and equipment, focused on irrigation and control of water consumption telemanagement for the green areas of the main municipalities of Spain.

International expansion: Europe
Samcla products are positioned in the European market with special importance in France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Portugal

SAMCLA BECOMES PART OF THE SCARABELLI GROUP
Beginning of a new and exciting stage of international expansion to provide our products around the world, improving the offer and guaranteeing quality and service. We do it with Scarabelli, a leading company in the distribution of irrigation products in the Italian market, with 50 years of history, with whom SAMCLA has collaborated for almost 10 years.
